Peter Williams specialises in asbestos
related disease claims particularly those related to mesothelioma, work
accident and road traffic claims. He
joined the team in 1993 and became partner in 2001. He is a member
of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Law Society
Personal Injury Panel.

Peter speaks regularly for Central Law Training on asbestos disease and fatal accident claims at
their annual conferences.
Recent cases include:
- Acting in a product liability claim
for a French sous chef who suffered serious hand and arm injuries
whilst using a faulty automatic dough mixer
- Recovering £200,000 from British Telecom for a man diagnosed
with the asbestos cancer mesothelioma.
The case was settled within 7 weeks of instruction
- Recovering £270,000 for the wife and children of a man killed
in a road traffic accident in
Hereford.
- Acting for the only successful claimant in the Pleural plaques asbestos test cases heard in
the Court of Appeal.
- Recovering £106,000 from Newham Borough Council for a woman
suffering from mesothelioma who came into
contact with asbestos from washing her son's dust laden overalls in
the 1980s
