Record £1.4million award in mesothelioma case

Rodney Nelson-Jones has obtained one of the highest compensation awards in a mesothelioma case. PS’s widow sadly lost her husband in June 2008 at the age of just 47 years old to mesothelioma. He was diagnosed with the asbestos related tumour after being exposed as an engineer in the late 1980’s. The claim was made against his former employers.

Significant win for lung cancer sufferer

The Asbestos Claims Group, has won £84,000 in compensation for Mr B, a 67 year old man from Hayes who contracted lung cancer after being exposed to asbestos dust when working as a labourer for Cape Building Products Limited in the 1960s.

 

Over £250,000 compensation awarded to widow - The highest award for mesothelioma and care 

Harminder Bains represented the widow of John Lambie, a mesothelioma sufferer, after nursing him throughout his illness. The total award, was £253,310. This includes £72,000 for pain and suffering, one of the highest awards in this type of case; and £25,000 for care and assistance, which is the highest sum ever awarded in a mesothelioma case.

   

£220,000 compensation recovered within six months for mesothelioma sufferer

Bob Baillie contacted Peter Williams after being diagnosed with mesothelioma at Bart’s Hospital. Bob worked for two companies where he was exposed to significant amounts of asbestos. The case was completeted within six months and conducted at no cost to Mr Baillie.
