(the “Website”).

LLP ("FFW"), a firm of Solicitors, whose address is 35 Vine Street,
London, EC3N 2AA (“FFW”, “us”, “we” or “our”). For the purposes of
these Terms, Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP includes any and all Field
Fisher Waterhouse LLP subsidiary companies and joint ventures which
may exist from time to time.

and use the Website you are deemed to have understood and agreed to

3.1 Websites or web pages to which this Website is linked are
for information purposes only and have not been reviewed by FFW. We
accept no responsibility for the content of such websites or web
pages, nor do we accept responsibility for any losses or penalties
incurred as a result of your use of any links or reliance on the
content of any website to which this site is linked.
3.2 You may not frame, link or deep-link this Website to any

4. Computer Viruses, Worms and Trojan
Horses
4.1 Whilst we use reasonable endeavours to protect this Website
from computer viruses, worms, and Trojan Horses (the “Destructive
Features”), we do not warrant that the Website is free from such
Destructive Features and accept no liability for any damage that
may result from the transmission of any Destructive Feature via
this Website or via any files which are available for you to
download from the Website.
5. Copyright and Reproduction

copyright in all the Information featured on this Website and of
all related intellectual property rights, including but not limited
to all database rights, trade marks, registered trade marks,

6. Data Protection and the FFW Privacy
Policy
6.1 We may require basic information which identifies you as an
individual (“Personal Information”), such as your name and email
address, in order to enable you to take advantage of particular
services that we offer, for example when you request one of our
newsletters or further information on a specific department. We
will only use such Personal Information for the purposes of
providing information which you have requested, or for other
purposes set out in these Terms.
6.2 We may on occasion make use of Personal Information that we
collect in order to help us administer the Website and/or for
marketing purposes. We may for instance send you information about
FFW services that we feel might be of particular interest to you.
If you do not wish us to make use of your Personal Information in

give you the opportunity to opt out of future marketing whenever we
send you marketing material.
6.3 Except (i) to the extent that we are required to do so by
law, (ii) in connection with any legal proceedings (including
prospective legal proceedings), or (iii) in order to establish,
exercise or defend the legal rights of FFW, we will not disclose
your Personal Information to any other party without first
obtaining your permission.
6.4 FFW will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss,
misuse or alteration of your Personal Information. Employees,
contractors and agents of FFW may be given access to any Personal
Information which we collect, but their use shall be limited to the
performance of their duties in relation to facilitating your use of
the Website. FFW’s employees, contractors and agents who have
access to your Personal Information are required to keep that
information confidential and are not permitted to use it for any
purposes other than to enable you to use the Website or to deal
with requests which you submit to us.

responsible for the privacy policy of such websites.
6.6 When you visit our Website a small amount of data known as a

the Website is used, which in turn helps us to ensure that the
Website is relevant to its users. FFW does not use cookie
technology to collect Personal Information. If we send you a

take advantage of certain services or facilities on the Website if

7. Financial Services and Markets Act 2000
7.1 FFW is not authorised by the Financial Services Authority to
provide financial services and products under the Financial
Services and Markets Act 2000. We are however regulated by the Law
Society of England and Wales and as such can offer a limited range
of financial investment services to our clients. We can supply
these services as long as they are incidental to the legal services
that we are providing.
7.2 FFW has an internal procedure for dealing with complaints.
However, should a client feel that a complaint has been
unsatisfactorily dealt with by us, they may ask the Law Society,
which has its own complaints and redress procedure, to look into
the matter further.
8. Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations
2002
8.1 The following information is provided by us to ensure our
compliance with the above regulations.
8.2 FFW is regulated by the Law Society of England and Wales and
as such is bound by The Guide to the Professional Conduct of
Solicitors. This can be found at www.guide-on-line.lawsociety.org.uk.
8.3 FFW is registered for VAT with the registration number GB
232 2737 84.
9. Changes to the Terms
9.1 FFW reserves the right, at its discretion, to make changes
to any part of the Website, the Information or these Terms. Should
these Terms be amended, FFW will publish details of the amendments
on the Website. By continuing to use the Website you agree to be
bound by these Terms as amended.
10. Severability
10.1 If these Terms or any part of them should be determined to
be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable under the laws of
any state or country in which these Terms are intended to be
effective, then to the extent that they are so illegal, invalid or
unenforceable, they shall in that state or country be treated as
severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining Terms shall
survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be
binding and enforceable in that state or country.
11. Events beyond our control
11.1 FFW will not be responsible for any breach of these Terms
caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

12.1 Certain files of Information are available for download
from the Website. These files of Information are subject to these
Terms.
13. Governing law
13.1 These Terms are subject to English law and to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts.
